“Success Without Stress” at Adoni

Chinmaya Yuva Kendra Adoni organised a one day Youth Camp on Sunday 1 September 2024 on the theme SUCCESS WITHOUT STRESS.

Sessions were conducted by Brahmachari Narayana Chaitanya and Brahmachari Harish Chaitanya (Chinmaya Vidyalaya Nellore, Andhra Pradesh) along with CHYKs and a team of Sevaks. 35 youth from various colleges across Adoni enthusiastically attended the camp, despite rains.



Swamini Supriyananda’s Visit to Singapore

Swamini Supriyananda (Chinmaya Mission Hong Kong) delighted the Singapore devotees with her presence from 26 June to 1 July 2024.

From taking seekers through Empowering Love in Narada Bhakti Sutra to Dynamic Living through Karma Yoga, and finally to the moment of Surrender in Upades Sara, she prodded them to reflect on the teachings simply but effectively.

Members of Chinmaya Mission Singapore had a wonderful Hanuman Chalisa chanting session at the Centre on 22 June which invigorated the devotees to start regular monthly chanting sessions.

On 30 June they commemorated the Guru Parampara with a Bhajan Sandhya where Swamini Supriyananda gave an explanation of the bhajans. The Swaranjali Group, along with the youth, sang melodious bhajans and transported all to a Divine realm, at the Guru’s Feet.


Monsoon Weekend Camp at Kolwan

From 9 to 11 August 2024, Chinmaya Mission Mumbai organised a special monsoon weekend camp with Shri Hanuman at Chinmaya Vibhooti! With talks by Swami Swatmananda on “Sankat Mochan”, icebreakers, japa, meditation, group discussion and evening aarti, the camp was an absolute treat for the 50 delegates, who cherished the moments spent in lush nature, far from the hustle and bustle of city life. One of the camp highlights was a spiritually-charged Hanuman Havan at Chinmaya Maruti Mandir, planned and explained by Swami Swatmananda so that each one got the most out of the powerful experience. The feedback for the whole camp was outstanding and the campers are already looking forward to the next such opportunity.


Swami Gangeshananda Attains Mahasamadhi

Swami Gangeshananda of Chinmaya Mission Kanpur and Prayagraj Centres, took final refuge at the feet of Pujya Gurudev at Prayagraj at 1:40 am on 27 July 2024, at the age of 55.

He attended the 5th batch of the Vedanta Course at Sandeepany HIM, Sidhbari, under the guidance of Swami Subodhananda. In 1995, he received Brahmacharya Deeksha and was given the name Brahmachari Vishwesh Chaitanya.

In February 2009, he received Sannyasa Deeksha from Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda. He went on to be the Resident Acharya of two Vedanta Courses in Hindi, at Sidhbari.

Swami Gangeshananda served in various parts of North India, including the Mandhana Ashram. He was also responsible for overseeing the work of Hindi Publications of Chinmaya Mission for a period of time.

He will be remembered for the seva he lovingly offered to Chinmaya Mission.


Guru Purnima at Jhansi

Guru Purnima celebrations were organized under the aegis of Chinmaya Mission Jhansi, in which, under the guidance of Vedaputra Saurabh, Brahmachari Raghavendra Chaitanya duly worshiped Maharishi Veda Vyasa. More than 100 seekers participated in this function.
They prayed to the Guru by repeating the 108 names of Shri Veda Vyasa. After the Puja, Br. Raghavendra Chaitanya and other seekers expressed their views on the subject of the Guru’s glory.



Guru Purnima Celebrations at Delhi

Chinmaya Mission Delhi celebrated Guru Purnima at Chinmaya Centre of World Understanding, Delhi.
Swami Avyayananda performed Guru Paduka Puja with Ashtottara- Archana by the 108 names of Shri Veda Vyasa, the 108 names of Guru Tattvanamavali and the 108 names of Swami Chinmayananda. Over 200 devotees attended the programme.


Swami Advaitananda Receives Award

Swami Advaitananda (Chinmaya Mission Nashik) received the Geeta Gourav Puraskar of Geeta Dharma Mandal in Pune on 23 July 2024, on its completion of 100 years. There were various other awards by which other dignitaries were also felicitated.


Bhumi Puja in Brisbane, Australia

Teacher Empowerment Programme at Hosur

Chinmaya Mission Hosur, as part of its Teacher Empowerment Programme, conducted a half day session on the topic “5G” to the teachers of Bharati Vidyalaya School, Hosur, on 13 July 2024.

Sevaks Smt. Suganya and Smt. Rajeswari along with Swami Shashvatananda conducted the sessions which included videos clippings and celebrity talks related to the topic. After the theme introduction the teachers were asked to do a group activity which they participated enthusiastically.

Swami Shashvatananda and Smt. Rajeswari spoke on the theme Gratitude and ways of expressing it, while Smt. Suganya explained the benefits of Gratitude.
The programme concluded with the Chinmaya Mission Pledge which again was related to the topic and the Teachers could connect easily with the Pledge and they repeated it with complete awareness.
